T2S Real Estate

We rented an apartment in Barcelona in September 2023 using T2S as the agency. Jordi was extremely aggressive, demanding that we meet him at midnight at his private residence to give him a reserve deposit of 500 Euros in cash to secure the flat, or we would lose it. He promised us a completed draft contract which he then refused to deliver until we paid the full agency fee, several thousand Euros. When we pushed back, he told us we had no right to question the ethics of his company and no right to question "the rules" as he put it. We were actually worried that this was actually a scam and took the step of contacting my bank to block access to our account. A few days later, we visited their offices and spoke to the administrator, at which point the process assumed a more professional path. In the end, we did secure the apartment but did not appreciate the strong arm tactics which were not necessary since we fully intended to rent.
